The Asia Pacific Media Forum (APMF) is an event supported by AFAA (Asian Federation of Advertising Agencies) and IAA (International Advertising Association).
Today, media plays as significant role as creative if not more. While there are many forums to discuss creativity, only few bring forward the issues of media in the context of advertising.
APMF addresses questions on trends in advertising media, the impact of newly developed technology on advertisers and creative agencies; new business models, media measurements, consumer speed of adoption, and many more.
The first APMF was launched at the Le Meridien Resort, Tanah Lot, Bali in March 2005, and was attended by around 300 participants.
The second was held at the Westin Hotel & Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali in November 2006, pulling in around 500 participants and speakers from Asia Pacific, Europe, United Kingdom and the United States.
Participants included top executives and managers of advertising agencies, media, advertisers, media specialists, research companies, and academics from Asia Pacific and other parts of the world.
Organised by AAPAM, APMF is a not-for-profit organization for professionals involved with advertising media.
