Academic Forum

The Asia Pacific Media Forum 2010 (APMF 2010) will again, host the Asia Pacific Students Media Forum (AP-SMF) immediately following the APMF 2010. And for the first time this year, we are happy to launch the Asia Pacific Academic Forum (AP-AF). 


Fully dedicated to advertising media and communication academic community in the region, AP-SMF and AP-AF expose students and lecturers to the current and future challenges faced by the media industry, as well as to meet with and learn from the rest of their community in the Asia Pacific region. For students, the forums will give them the chance to observe various career opportunities in the industry.

Both AP-SMF and AP-AF will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010.


 

Who can apply?

Students

  • Students attending universities in the Asia Pacific region, who are at least in their third year
  • Each university can only send a maximum of 2 persons to form a team, and the space is limited to 10 teams (only up to 5 teams of students from universities in Indonesia is allowed)

Lecturers

  • Lecturers from universities in the Asia Pacific region
  • Space is limited up to 30 persons

Special fee of USD500 (participants outside of Indonesia) or Rp 4,500,000 (participants from Indonesia) is available for lecturers to join the APMF 2010, while students may join at no cost. All participants must cover their own flight, meal and accommodation costs in Bali.
